This is a Carbon Fiber Part for the Sensing and Instrumentation market.
This part is carbon fiber and is a new material type for our customer. When making this part out of stainless steel, chemical photo etching is the chosen process, however, with a carbon fiber, MWJ was the chosen manufacturing process. This part is 2.58″ x 1.0″ x 0.031″.
This is a good example of using alternative materials to achieve your goals. This customer is developing more products that are designed with the Micro Waterjet manufacturing in mind.
