PRECISION CUTTING OF A WIDE RANGE OF MATERIALS

A Micron-Precise Cutting Solution

Not all cutting methods are equal. Our Microwaterjet® process is proven, precise, high-performing and gentle on materials. With our years of expertise, we can help you decide if our manufacturing methods fit your strict requirements.

Microwaterjet® Cutting Can Do It All

Compared to other options—conventional waterjet cutting, laser cutting, wire EDM and chemical etching—ours has clear advantages in more challenging applications.

✔️ Works with a wide range of materials
✔️ Micro-precise accuracy
✔️ Fast prototyping capabilities
✔️ High cutting speed
✔️ High surface quality
❌ No thermal impact or heat-affected zones
❌ No change in material structure
❌ No post-processing
❌ No re-cast or heat deformation

Our Approach

Meyer Tool Huntersville, LLC uses a proprietary solution developed with Abrasive Waterjet Micro Machining (AWJMM®) technology that mixes a very fine abrasive with accelerated water at an average impact speed of approximately 800m/s. With a cutting accuracy of +/- 0.01mm and positioning accuracy of +/- 0.003mm, we can quickly create parts from a raw material state or add details or features to previously fabricated items.
